SDRA Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

Low Crime Does Not Necessarily Mean No Crime!

We have been very fortunate in South Drive and South Close to have very few instances of crime or anti-social behaviour. But you can never say never.

The SDRA runs a registered Neighbourhood Watch Scheme (NWS) designed to prevent crime and anti social-behaviour, minimise the fear of crime, and reduce the incidence of fire in South Drive and South Close. All members of the SDRA automatically benefit from the Scheme.

Our Scheme Co-ordinator is Annie Price at 6 South Close. Annie is available to discuss any concerns you may have, and should be made aware of any incidents. You can report crime, or a suspicion of crime, to Annie in confidence and get her advice on whether and how best to contact the Police or Local Authority.

Annie maintains a list of SDRA members willing to be called at all hours if you feel vulnerable or afraid for any reason. Annie also has free NWS stickers that you can display in a window.

Some household insurance companies offer a NWS premium discount. SDRA members should mention the SDRA NWS when renewing their insurance policies.
